Production Manager

 

Are you an experienced Production Manager who has overseen a team previously? Are you seeking a move into a reputable company where you can truly utilise your experiences?

If so, we really would like to hear from you and encourage you to read on. Our client is currently looking for a Production Manager to join the business as soon possible on a permanent basis.

 

Who will you be working for?

 

Our client is a leader in Patisserie and has developed an outstanding reputation for their delicious desserts and beautiful bakes and commitment to client service.

This position will be North London located and only a few steps from surrounding bars, restaurants and shops, creating an exciting and bustling atmosphere.

 

What will you be doing?

  • In this role you will use your knowledge and expertise in the bread and general dough-making industry to mix, shape and consistently produce high quality bakery products, while in a fast-paced, high-pressured and commercial-style environment.
  • You will need to have a minimum of 3 years' work or placement experience in this sector, as well as a deep understanding of the elements involved in dough preparation to enable you to analyse and make improvements on existing recipes

 

About you?

  • You will have had previous experiences as a Production Manager and overseeing a team.
  • In additional you will also need:
  • Responsibilities of the job include:
  • planning and organising production schedules
  • assessing project and resource requirements
  • ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
  • determining quality control standards
  • overseeing production processes
  • re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
  • supervising and organising the work of junior staff
